Galiano committee approves Wise Island variance permit

The Galiano Island Local Trust Committee approved development variance permit GL-DVP-2022.4 for Wise Island after amending it to delete the section concerning an outhouse. The minutes record the motion to approve the permit as amended as carried.[1]
The minutes say the committee received support for the application at town hall. They also record that recommendations from the Advisory Planning Commission concerning Wise Island were expected at a later meeting.[1]
